Q. Who is this program for?

This online yoga teacher training program is for yoga students looking to deepen their practice, as well as those of you who are looking to teach yoga as a professional yoga instructor.

Q. How Siddhi Yoga’s Yoga teacher Training program different than other online YTT programs?

Majority of online schools are running their programs online only and have limited experience running the one-to-one YTT. They have experience in running normal yoga classes.

However at Siddhi Yoga we are running our onsite YTTs in Asia since 2013 and have trained over 2000 yoga teachers from 90+ countries, who are now running their yoga studios or teaching yoga. We have subject matter experts teaching the specific subjects instead of one person teaching everything.

On top of that we are the only one offering Bhakti Yoga Kirtans. With the kind of success we've had with our courses, we are now able to make the Online 500 Hour Course very affordable at $744.

Q. How long it takes the training to complete?

You can take as long as you wish. You will need to complete it by 31st December 2023 to be recognized by Yoga Alliance. However, access is a lifetime.

Q. Is this course suitable for beginners?

Yes, it’s suitable for beginners. You must start with 200-Hour course and get started with Warm Up sequence and basic Asanas in Module 1 to prepare your body. You don’t have to go to next module until you are comfortable and your body is prepared for advanced asanas. Our teachers and mentors are here to help you as and when you need it.

Every Module has been structured in such a way that you can just keep on completing each lesson step by step in order to progress.
This structure has been created after 8+ years of teaching experience to give you Optimal results.

Once you have completed 200-Hour then only you should start with 300-Hour Advanced Course.

Q. What is the Language of the course?

The course is in simple English with English subtitles. It has Yoga Manual in English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Turkish.

Q. I don’t speak very good English, can I still do the course?

We have students from 90+ countries doing the course and some of them have little knowledge of English. As long as you understand a bit you should be able to.

We also provide transcripts and you can translate them to understand what they are saying. And with our high quality videos, it gets all the more easy. Spanish / French / Italian / Turkish version of the Manual are available to download.

We are working on Spanish and Italian subtitles as well. You can do all the assignments in your native language.

Q. Are there any subtitles?

Yes, we do have subtitles in English. We are working on Spanish and Italian subtitles and adding them every month.  In total we have 6 modules and all have Italian subtitles. We have completed most of the lessons in 4 modules for Spanish subtitles except some practice sessions. We are expecting to complete Spanish subtitles very soon. For 300-Hour we only have English Manual and English subtitles.

Q. Should I take this course even if I don’t want to be a yoga teacher?

Q. Can I register with Yoga Alliance?

Yoga Alliance now allows online learning as part of their registration process in light of the recent pandemic. This means that you can register with Yoga Alliance upon graduating from Siddhi Yoga certification program. This provision by Yoga Alliance is currently approved through December 31, 2023.

Q. Do I need to be Yoga Alliance Certified in order to teach? 

Not at all. In fact, you don’t need any certification at all in order to teach yoga. But these days some studios or even some people ask for credentials. This is where these certifications become handy.

Q. Do I need to register with Yoga Alliance in order to teach?

No, it’s not compulsory to register with Yoga Alliance however it’s highly recommended if you are planning to teach. It’s a global directory of yoga teachers and schools. By registering with them you are increasing your visibility and improving your chances of getting work. However, you will need to pay $115 for the first year and $65 annually from the subsequent year.
