Q. Who is this program for?
This online yoga teacher training program is for yoga students looking to deepen their practice, as well as those of you who are looking to teach yoga as a professional yoga instructor.
Q. How Siddhi Yoga’s Yoga teacher Training program different than other online YTT programs?
Majority of online schools are running their programs online only and have limited experience running the one-to-one YTT. They have experience in running normal yoga classes. However at Siddhi Yoga we are running our onsite YTTs in Asia since 2013 and trained over 2000 yoga teachers from 60+ countries who are running their yoga studios or teaching yoga now.
We have subject matter experts teaching the specific subject instead of one person teaching everything. On top of that we are the only one offering Bhakti Yoga Kirtans.
Q. How long it takes the training to complete?
You need minimum 21 days if you can spare 10 hours a day. We have divided the whole course in 6 modules. You must complete Module 1 in order to go to 2nd one and will need at least one week to complete first two modules. On second week you will get access to Module 3 & 4 and on 3rd week you will get access to Module 5 & 6. Exams will be available after 20 days.
However if you wish to do it in your free time, you can take as long as you wish.
Q. Is this course suitable for beginners?
Yes, it’s suitable for beginners. We start with Warm Up sequence and basic Asanas in Module 1 to prepare your body. You don’t have to go to next module until you are comfortable and your body is prepared for advanced asanas. Our teachers and mentors are here to help you as and when you need it.
Every Module has been structured in such a way that you can just keep on completing each lesson step by step in order to progress. This structure has been created after 7 years of teaching experience to give you Optimal results.
Q. Should I take this course even if I don’t want to be a yoga teacher?
Please do! Yoga teacher training is a wonderful way to deepen and recommit to your practice.
Q. Are there any Exams after the course?
Yes, we have simple quiz type exams and you will need to pass them with 80% score before you can get your certificate. You can do them as many times as you wish. This way we ensure that you have gained sufficient knowledge to teach properly.
Q. What payment modes do you accept?
Online portal only have Credit Card and PayPal. Please contact us if you wish to pay via, Transferwise, Bank Transfer or Western Union.
Q. When will I get the other two free courses?
Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program comes with Free Ayurveda and Restorative Yoga for limited time. However both will be available after 7 days if you have paid in full. If you have signed up for monthly installment plan then these will be available after 60 days when you have paid all the installments.
Q. Can I complete the program on my iPad or other mobile devices?
Yes, you can use your iPad or other mobile devices to complete this the training.
Q. What style of yoga will I be learning?
Yoga has many different styles, each having its own significance. At Siddhi Yoga, you will be exposed to several forms of yoga, which will give you a holistic view of how and what you’d like to teach. Our goal is to give you the most comprehensive training we can. You will encounter these styles in our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training:
1. Hatha Yoga – Yoga of Body and Mind Purification
2. Karma Yoga – Yoga of Action
3. Bhakti Yoga – Yoga of Devotion
4. Mantra Yoga – Yoga of Recitation
5. Raja Yoga – Yoga of Meditation
6. Vinyasa Yoga – Modern Yoga Flow
Q. Can I register with Yoga Alliance?
Yoga Alliance now allows online learning as part of their registration process in light of the recent pandemic. This means that you can register with Yoga Alliance upon graduating from Siddhi Yoga certification program. This provision by Yoga Alliance is currently approved through December 31, 2021.
Q. Do I need to be Yoga Alliance Certified in order to teach?
Not at all. In fact, you don’t need any certification at all in order to teach yoga. But these days some studios or even some people are asking for credentials. This is where these certifications become handy.
Q. Do I need to register with Yoga Alliance in order to teach?
No, it’s not compulsory to register with Yoga Alliance however it’s highly recommended if you are planning to teach. It’s a global directory of yoga teachers and schools. By registering with them you are increasing your visibility and improving your chances of getting work. However, you will need to pay $115 for the first year and $65 annually from the subsequent year. We have our own directory where you can register for free of cost.
